Once again, sorry it’s been so long since posting. I’ve been so unorganised and busy recently that I’ve put this on the back burner which was naughty of me!
If you’ve been reading my blog recently, you’d have seen that I was looking for exciting and free ways to exercise so when I was asked to attend a Tai Chi class in the beautifully crazy Camden, I just couldn’t refuse.
As part of the new #fitnessisfree campaign by Legal and General, a bunch of us bloggers were invited down to take part. It was taught by an experienced Tai Chi instructor so we were in safe hands.
I’d wanted to try Tai Chi for a few years. It’s definitely more intense and harder than it seems. It uses more muscles than you’d think, but is rather relaxing. I did find it funny at times though because I’d never been one of those people that do exercise classes in a park. It reminded me of scenes from films and TV shows.
People spend so much money every year on gym memberships when really, exercise should be free. In a nation of expanding waistlines, ways to keep fit should be accessible to everyone. Something like an exercise class in a local park is ideal. It is also great for those who have been in the office all day and need some fresh air and exercise.
I’d recommend Tai Chi, though take it at your own pace. It can put strains on certain muscles and joints if you’re not careful.
If you want any further information from Legal and General about the day, then the link is here.
Are there any other exercise techniques you think I should check out? Just comment below!
I promise I will blog more in the next few weeks, and have more beauty and fashion posts for you lovely readers!
Oodles of love…
